On Foot
The College is within 20 minutes walking distance of Redhill train and bus stations, and Redhill town centre.
By Bike
Covered bicycle racks are available at both Gatton Point and Gatton Point South. You will need to provide your own chain/lock,
A limited number of lockable bicycle stores are also available for students to use. A £10 deposit is required for the key. For more information, please contact Gatton Point reception.
All bicycles and accessories are left at owners’ risk.
By Rail
Redhill train station has rail services to stations including:
Brighton, Crawley, East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Guildford, Horsham, London Bridge, London Victoria, Reigate, Three Bridges, Tonbridge.
Journey times include: Croydon 18 minutes, Crawley 22 minutes, Reigate 10 minutes.
Train student fare card: This allows 16-18 year old Surrey residents in full-time education to buy a season ticket to travel to and from home and college at a discounted cost of one-third the full adult rate. The card costs £25 and runs from the date of issue until the end of August the following year. Terms and conditions apply.
Oyster Card and contactless payments extend to Gatwick Airport and the five Rail Stations in Surrey en-route to the airport (Redhill, Salfords, Earlswood and Gatwick). Fares will benefit some students as the pay-as-you-go fares are cheaper than the normal tickets and will be available on Southern, Gatwick Express and Thameslink services.
By Bus
The bus station is adjacent to the train station, there are frequent services from there to the College – look out for service numbers 405, 411 & 430 that stop outside the College.
Surrey Link Bus Card: This allows 16-18 year old Surrey residents in full-time education to travel on Surrey buses for the under 16s fare. The card is FREE and it runs from the date of issue until the end of August the following year and is valid for home to college journeys that start and/or end within Surrey, only.
Application forms for the bus and train student fare cards can be obtained from our Client Services team. There is a further scheme for 16-18 year old Surrey residents who are in receipt of an Educational Maintenance Allowance, supported by the LEA, again please speak to our Client Services team for more information.
By College Minibus
A free minibus service for students and staff runs every 15 minutes*, Monday to Friday, between East Surrey College (Gatton Point North) and Redhill Town Centre (outside Prezzo). Term time only.

Parking
There is limited car parking available to students at the Gatton Point South car park, However car parking is available in the evenings in the staff car park from 17:00 and at weekends. Parking is subject to availability and may be suspended at any time.
